Why I Began Exploring Functional Nutrition and Lab Testing

My journey started 10 years ago when my husband and I began organic market gardening, which taught me how food quality and agricultural practices affect health. After having children, I became frustrated with my wellness journey due to skin issues, painful periods, and fatigue, despite eating well and exercising. Conventional blood work showed normal results, but treatments like topical steroids and hormonal birth control didn’t provide the lasting solutions I sought. Many of my clients shared similar experiences, motivating me to guide them more effectively. While I support conventional medicine and recognize its importance, I believe it often lacks the focus on educating and empowering long-term health and wellness.

"My mission is to empower people to achieve realistic change to optimal health and wellness through personalized, evidence-based nutrition strategies. I am committed to “digging” for root causes of imbalances in the body, guiding clients on a  journey to better health by integrating functional nutrition, lifestyle modifications, and compassionate support. My goal is to help each client enhance quality of life and foster sustainable well-being."

My passionate, kind and practical guidance helps clients integrate lasting changes that improve their health and wellbeing. I work to empower my clients to confidently and sustainably reach their health and wellness goals for a nourished and thriving lifestyle!

Conditions We Specilize In

Diabetes, Pre-Diabetes, PCOS, and All Things Blood Sugar Related

Insulin pumps, CGM interpretation, blood sugar meds & supplements, plus lifestyle factors affecting blood sugar levels.

Gut Health

Chronic bloat, constipation, and diarrhea. The gut is our “second” brain. When out of balance, it can cause symptoms like skin issues, weight loss resistance, brain fog, and hormonal imbalances.

Metabolism

Weight management, disease prevention, and good energy require healthy metabolic function. The “eat less, and exercise more” theory does not address long-term health conditions.

Healthy Relationships with Food and Body

Life is too short to be at war with your mind and body, so embrace a healthier mindset that promotes self-love and acceptance. Food should fuel your body and bring you joy. Break up with dieting for good!
